13 October 2026 — Clarissa Mae today releases the official music video for bed crumbs, from her debut, the love songs EP, out now via Origins Inconclusive. Shot on 16mm at Bean World Studios, the film places Clarissa and her band at the centre of the song’s rhythmic, guitar-led world.

The song follows the uncertainty hiding inside everyday intimacy: breakfast in bed, shared sheets and late-night calls, set against the need for an honest answer. Its recurring insistence that she is “fine most of the time” sits beside the doubts she cannot quite put away. The video gives those feelings a physical setting, bringing the musicians, instruments and grain of film into the same room.

Paolo Sarli, Joseph Heap and the 16mm film

Produced by WOP VISUALS, the video is directed and edited by Paolo Sarli, with cinematography and colour by Joseph Heap. Between them, Sarli and Heap’s previous work includes projects with Joy Crookes, Unflirt, Venbee and Leonie Biney.

Cadyn Jay Lewis Page, known as KDYN, performs on bass. The cast also includes Robert Adoo Kissi-Debrah and CJ Ragrag. Natalie Vest-Jones handled artist makeup, while Max Tesmann-Sturge photographed the shoot behind the scenes.

bed crumbs is the fourth track on Clarissa Mae’s five-song debut EP, released on 18 September 2026. The collection brings together love songs, anyway, translate, bed crumbs and shy, tracing love, insecurity and growing up through small, personal details.
